How Dmaic Carbon selects a grade

Selection starts with the application: sliding speed, pressure or load, temperature, chemical medium, lubrication regime, mating surface, dimensional tolerance and expected life. Impregnation can then be considered to modify porosity, strength, sealing behavior or other characteristics.
